We are pleased to share that AGENCY has been selected to appear in Out-of-the-Box, a showcase organized by COVEN. Check out the showcase premiere video on YouTube:

We could not be happier or more honored about being selected to appear in this showcase alongside an amazing array of games! We are also pleased to announce, as part of our appearance in this showcase, that we are going to release our game on the Steam Deck! The demo is already available to play on the deck. Read our post on Steam for more information: Supporting the Steam Deck with a native Linux build!.

There is still a bunch of work left for us to do to release our game but we are getting there, day by day and week by week. Although we can see that the road ahead is full of work, we can also turn our heads back and see where we came from. We can see in the far distance the outlines of all our previous efforts at making an interesting game and all the failed attempts. To get from there to a position where people are genuinely interested in our game is both humblingThank you, folks! We truly find it moving. and a giant confidence boost.

If I (Ali) may commandeer this post for this one paragraph, I just want to express how I find my mind boggled. Truly, it is boggled. One of the games in the showcase is “Braid, Anniversary Edition.” I first played Braid on the Xbox 360. It was a long time ago, a time when gaming was one of the few bright spots. I remember being enthralled by Braid’s time-based puzzle mechanics and its soundtrack. To go from that all those years ago to this moment now where we have our own game, with its own amazing soundtrackShout-out to Auralnauts!, is surreal enough. But to also now be in a showcase alongside Braid? Well, that is just madness.
